WHO WE ARE
Stripped of Human Rights are a group calling out the disgraceful abuse and neglect that autistic and learning-disabled people are suffering in ATUs - 'Assessment and Treatment Units' - and the failure of government to stop this despite repeated promises to do so. This should be obvious - reports from MPs, Mencap, the National Autistic Society, and the NHS have all set out what needs to happen to provide the proper social care that autistic and learning disabled people need. However, governments and health bosses just aren't listening. So, we're making them listen - and every voice who joins us makes it harder for them to ignore us!
